Dear compassionate souls of Las Vegas,

Wednesday, January 7, 2026 an American citizen was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.

A broad coalition of groups across the country is calling for a coordinated ICE Out For Good actions on Friday, January 23rd in solidarity for Minnesota, and to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE's actions.

A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property. Handmaids of Las Vegas are managing data and communications with participants. We invite you to join the Handmaids of Las Vegas as we unite in a powerful demonstration of solidarity for immigrant rights. On January 23, 2026, we will gather THIS Friday at the ICE Offices in Downtown Las Vegas. Our stands will take place from 3PM to 4:30PM, where we will stand together, clad in the iconic red uniforms of the handmaids, to echo the call for justice and equality.

A Stand for Dignity and Humanity Under the current Trump regime, immigrants and people of color have faced cruel and inhumane treatment. Families have been torn apart, and countless individuals have been subjected to unjust policies that strip away their dignity and rights. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their background or origin.
