2026 OKC Women's March

Advocacy Works is hosting two same-day events:

2026 OKC Women's March
10 AM-12 PM at the Capitol, 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd.

Guest speakers are as follows:
Voting Issues -- Senator Connie Johnson
Domestic Violence - LaRenda Morgan
Female Incarceration Dr. Susan Sharp 
Maternal Mortality & Morbidity - Camille Crigler Davis (unconfirmed)
Wage Gap Economics - Amy Warne
Reproductive Justice - Chaunte Gilmore

The ceremony features Honorees who were selected to be featured in our fundraising book 'A Teen Girl's Historical Guide to Oklahoma Politics' written by me, Jakky Lynette. They will be honored with 2026 All Queens Rally Crown of Distinction Awards.

A "Torch of Legacy" session will then take place where trophied torches are given to selected young women. This symbolizes the transfer of wisdom and responsibility in advocacy to the next generation to uplift more women forevermore.


The march around the Capitol building will then conclude the Capitol Events.

Music from D. Chapelle of Power 103.5 -or- music from local OKC artists will be toggled in between each guest speaker at Wiley Post between 2-4PM

OKCFD is tentatively scheduled for a female firefighter from 4:30-4:45PM to speak how about firefighters respond to the increasing number of mental health-related calls & best practices for the general public.

Then continuous music streaming will prevail until the event ends at 7pm.

VENDOR INFORMATION

Nonprofit tables not selling merchandise are absolutely free. 501c3 status is NOT required to receive a nonprofit table. 
Vendors selling merchandise are $50 due by March 1st but they need to fill out the form now to secure their spot. 
Music Artists have 10-minute slots and must perform his/her/their own original music on their own legal beat. There is no cost or payment associated. This is an effort to help Oklahoma artists get put on the music map.
Food Trucks have no upfront fees, but we do encourage that they remit a percentage of net sales generated during the event to Advocacy Works as a nonprofit fundraising contribution.

Supporters may also sign up to volunteer, make donations, register attendance, or purchase our official fundraising book "A Teen Girl's Historical Guide to Oklahoma Politics" written by Jakky Lynette to help Advocacy Works sustain an annual Women's March and Celebration Event in Oklahoma City.
