Abortion Rights and Reproductive Justice are ON THE BALLOT!!

This event is being organized in advance of the November election and in solidarity with the national Women's March, which has called us to action across the country on October 8, to express our determination to guarantee abortion rights and reproductive justice for ALL.
Please join us.
Abortion rights may be safe in Maine NOW, but we could lose them at any time, especially after November, and if a national abortion ban--which Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina recently called for--actually goes into effect.
Abortion is health care, and health care is a human right!
We will rally NON-VIOLENTLY but with our whole hearts on the lawn in front of the Unitarian Universalist Church (69 Silver St.) in Waterville. Speakers--including a number of local candidates for elective office in November--will address the ongoing attacks on abortion rights and reproductive justice, and will inspire us to defend our constitutional rights with our words, actions, and November ballots! There will also be music, a voter registration table, and a chance to learn more about the candidates and about relevant community organizations.
Please be sure to bring your friends, your signs, and your voices, and please adhere to all public health guidelines.
Again, this is a NONVIOLENT event. We ask that all attendees commit to peace, justice, and the common public good.
