Every Monday evening, we assemble here like a band of half-tired, half-furious patriots who’ve decided that waiting for Washington is a sucker’s game. The Trump monarchy and its legislative goblins have left people hungry, broke, and confused — so we’re doing what sane people always do when the empire starts wobbling:
 we take care of our own.

This is not some soft-focus charity mixer with cucumber water and whispered sympathy.
 This is Mutual Aid with teeth — loud music, real conversations, neighbors telling the truth about what they need, and organizers ready to roll up their sleeves and do something about it.

We start on the ground:
 Meeting residents.
 Figuring out who’s food insecure.
 Helping seniors navigate grocery delivery like it’s the damn moon landing.
 Putting small amounts of cash in the hands of people who need it — fast, clean, human.

And then we build from there:
 Habitat for Humanity crews, volunteer squads, pathways into homeownership, veterans swinging hammers like Carter in his prime — the whole mad, beautiful arc of a community deciding it will not be ruled by kings, tyrants, or absentee billionaires.

If you show up for even five minutes, that’s enough.
