Bend OR Free America Walkout
One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, attacks on U.S. citizens, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent.
2025 was a year of protests and marches that showed our collective strength. As the threats grow, our movement must evolve, and grow louder, stronger, broader, and more strategic. It is time for our communities to increase our commitment, and amplify our power.
On January 20, 50501 Central Oregon joins the Women’s March National and communities across the country and calls on Central Oregon to WALK OUT. Walk out from your classrooms, workplaces, and shopping areas. WALK OUT on the Trump regime. WALK OUT because now is not the time for business as usual. WALK OUT for freedom.

What’s a walkout? A walkout is the act of leaving a place of work, school, a company, or an organization as an expression of protest. You choose how to participate—it can be as simple as walking out of work for ten minutes and taking a selfie with a #walkoutforfreedom hashtag.
