IDAHO WOMEN’S DAY – March 14, 2026
March 14 is established as Idaho Women’s Day to honor the influence, impact, and importance of women in Idaho’s past, present, and future. The date commemorates March 14, 1891, when Idaho adopted the nation’s only state seal designed by a woman, Emma Edwards Green—symbolizing equality, justice, and liberty. This recognition also honors Idaho’s long history of advancing women’s leadership and celebrates the legacy of women’s suffrage.
Please join us to celebrate the Women of Idaho on March 14, from noon to 3 pm at the Capitol steps.
This year we are doing something a little different since it falls on a Saturday.
