Brave Women’s March - Sandusky

Sandusky Brave Women's March
Firelands Indivisible is hosting a Brave Women’s March in Sandusky on International Women’s Day, March 8th, starting at noon. We will begin with a rally at Schade-Mylander Plaza in downtown Sandusky featuring stories of inspiring, resilient women.
Speakers will include:
● Sondra Light-Holt, Founder & Executive Director of HunnyBee Healthcare Inc. and PAC Chair of NAACP Sandusky
● Rini Jeffers, Chronicle-Telegram columnist and multiple-year recipient of the Ohio Associated Press Columnist of the Year Award
● Mindy Kayl, Candidate for Erie County Commissioner
● Senator Teresa Fedor, 22-year veteran of the Ohio Statehouse who led Ohio’s Anti-Human Trafficking movement
We will also be treated to a performance from local acoustic artist, AC Darcy.

After the rally we will march as a group the three blocks up Columbus Avenue to demonstrate in front of the Erie County Courthouse.

This event is intended to recognize and celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th. The goal is to stand up for the rights of women, to demand justice for victims of sexual assault, to take action against the systems that protect abusers and terrorize women, and to show solidarity with all the brave women in our lives.
