Burlington Resister Sisters Free America Walkout

The Resister Sisters invite you to join millions across America who will walk out on January 20th to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real. Resister Sisters are mostly retirees, so we're walking out of our houses to face down fascism. Students and employees walking out are welcome of course!  We're ALL taking a stand against fascism and ICE!

We'll be meeting at intersection of North Avenue and Rt 127 in the New North End of Burlington. From 2pm – 3:30pm, the local time set for this national action. We’ll take our stand in solidarity with those walking out of jobs and classes. Come for as long as you can.
 
Parking: we asked but CANNOT park at the North Avenue Alliance Church. Please park on the nearby side streets ---- Saratoga and Killary Avenues, or park at Ethan Allen Tower Park, a slightly longer walk. And of course, carpool when possible.

The Sisters will bring our banners, tombstones, a bubble maker, and Signs of Fascism signs. Please bring noise makers, musical instruments, whistles. Come for as much or as little time as you can. Just be part of the national walk-out. Forward this to spread the word!
