Call A College

Make a phone call to let college and university Title IX and/or campus police offices know that we expect full transparency and timely action on cases of sexual assault on college campuses.

Parents of College Kids - Call the college your children are attending and let them know you expect them to take claims of SA seriously. Ask what their plan is to protect victims and hold perpetrators accountable.

Everyone else - Call your alma mater, a college in your community, or any college at all!

Google the Title IX or Campus Police  phone number of whatever college/university you’ve chosen. Try to call during business hours and speak to someone, if possible.
Example Script:
I am calling because I am concerned about the way campuses are handling sexual assault cases. {Explain any personal connection to school.} Please tell me what I can expect if a student at your school comes to you with allegations of a sexual or physical assault.
Possible follow-up questions: What do you do to provide counseling, care and safety for the victims? What types of consequences are in place for the assaulters? What recent measures have you taken to increase safety for students  on campus?
If you are unsatisfied with the response, let them know you will be continuing to call and will be looking into past safety issues on their campus.
