Voting is a vital part of a functioning democracy, and boy is it ever important to lean into saving our democracy. Registering to vote is the first step in voting, which makes sure you are on the voter rolls come November.
Now you might be saying, well I’ve already registered to vote. Yay! And it’s also a great time to check to see if you are still registered. Below are some reasons about why you might need to re-register to vote
- Moved - have you moved since the last time you voted? This includes leaving college and even moving down the street.
- Changed your name - this includes if you changed your name if you got married or divorced.
- You haven’t voted in awhile - sometimes when you have not voted in awhile you might get dropped from the voter rolls.
- Formerly incarcerated - depending on your circumstances and state, you might need to register or re-register to vote.
We will be able to register you if you haven't registered, and check your registration at the event.
And of course it wouldn't be party without a little fun, we will have free henna tattoo artist, tarot reader as well as special guest.
