DeKalb County, Georgia Free America Walkout

According to the BBC, political scientists have learned that "Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change."

Recent polling of Americans reveals that multiples of that percentage disapprove of Trump's policies in one way or another--or in many ways. But they need enCOURAGEment to speak up and stand up!

Let's wear red, white, and blue and wave signs that motivate people to get involved! You can pick a specific issue or protecting democracy, i.e., "This all ends when enough of us say NO"   "Don't Panic. Organize" (the fish sign)   "Honk if you've had enough"   "Democracy is on the line! ACT like it"   "Democracy doesn't defend itself--WE HAVE TO"   "Democracy needs your courage"   "But what can I do?--said 340,000,000 people"

The intersection of Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road
1489 Scott Boulevard
Decatur, GA, 30030
United States
We will stand on the corners of the intersection with our signs. It's a high traffic location, so we have to be responsible for our own safety and stay ON the sidewalk, but we cannot impede pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. Free America Walkout recommends wearing red, whites and blue.
