Delaware Women's Strike & Empowerment

It is time to take back this day. It is time to remind the country that women have power.

Economic power. Social Power. Personal Power.

Though we in Delaware have not experienced the same loss of rights as many other states across the nation, this is a pivotal time when ALL women need to be standing together.

Our vision is to be a group of women supporting women through acts. Delaware Women’s Strike & Empowerment has a threefold plan.

Women who can afford it in these difficult economic times go on strike on June 24th. Show the state, the country, the world that things go on hold when women take a stand!
All women will wear red in solidarity with the national strike and attend our Empowerment Rally on June 24th.
During the week of June 24th, we will stand together with female owned and operated businesses. We promise to only support and purchase from businesses that are run by women.
