On June 14, Donald Trump will honor himself with a four-mile military parade in our nation’s capitol. Trump’s Birthday Parade was inspired by dictators he idolizes, and will cost taxpayers nearly $100 million.

Organizer and strategist Daniel Hunter has written that “Humor is important for our psyches — and to take fascists down a notch[…] Humor is key for morale and exposing the vulnerability of the strongman image.” This is where the ridiculous meets the resistance—and where the future is on the line.

June 14 is our chance to reflect the absurdity of the MAGA regime and the clowns who lead it. Our grassroots street circuses turn satire into resistance and reclaim the big tent for democracy.

In Gainesville, FL 9a-12p we have the opportunity to march alongside Indivisible from Bo Diddly Plaza to Depot Park. Fall in step and make a mockery of Trump's Parade by wearing something colorful & clownish as we go.

Beginning at 9AM join at 111 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601 to protest the clowns in D.C. who have cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts, undermining the US Constitution and American democracy.

This Flag Day, take back our symbol of Democracy from Trump & his racist, sexist, and law-breaking cronies.

We will meet at Bo Diddly Plaza in downtown Gainesville at 9AM. We will march along University Avenue to 6th Street, then turn south and walk to Cora P. Roberson Park, at SW 6th Street and Depot Avenue, where we will rally as part of a national effort to let the world know that we will not allow Trump and his MAGA supporters destroy our democracy. Bring your signs and make your voice heard!
