Geneva Women's Assembly: Build Our Skills, Build Our Power

This International Women's Day, let's build our skills together. Join us on March 8th with GWA to take action in your community to demonstrate our collective power to resist, the impact of our noncompliance, and our will to build a better world. As a sort of introductory course to activism, people can learn how to write chants, rally speeches, attend or even marshall a protest, and take part in their community in a way that is safe and productive.
At the Bozzuto Center, 22 Castle street, Geneva NY, We will have a community meal and introductions 1230-1 pm, as well as local organizations and activist group tabling to meet community members. 1-4 pm there will be several workshops offered, as well as childcare and age appropriate activities. 4 pm we will host a rally outside of city hall, followed by a march through the city to showcase our newfound skills! This is truly within the frame of Activism 101, to show people how to get out, stop despairing and wringing their hands, and accomplish good trouble together!
