Hawaii Stands With Women

This International Women's Day, we need to show women they are supported, loved, and valued. You're invited to craft a sign of love and support to the women of our Big Island community & family, and display them proudly on Saturday, March 7th 2026 on Hilo Bayfront Beach Park.

Whether you wish to tell women you believe them, that you support their bodily autonomy, or that they deserve equal rights, this is the stand you take. This is your chance to communicate that women are valued, and we want them in our workplaces, in our systems of government, in our sports. We want our women protected, supported, and uplifted. 

This International Women's Day, show-up for all the women in your life who've always shown up for you. Women are under attack physically, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually. But if a woman falls, how many will fall after her? A woman is not just a woman, she is a mountain, providing shelter and nourishment to so many who come under her care. 

Join us in fierce love to tell not only the women in your life, but also the government that seeks to diminish them, that we will not let our women be silenced or falsely imprisoned. Tell the world: Hawaii stands with women.
