I AM JANE DOE — Stop Sexual Assault Rally

We are all Jane Doe until none of us are.

When: Thursday, October 8th from 12 - 1:00 pm
Where: Sidewalk outside of the Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse, at 5201 Monticello Avenue, Williamsburg, VA 23188

Join us as we gather to raise awareness, and stand in solidarity for survivors across the country, including Jane Doe at Cornell University, Kendall Francis at Louisiana State University, and every survivor whose experience has been dismissed.

We're calling for systemic change and calling on institutions — from the frat house to the White House and beyond — to stop protecting abusers and their reputations at the expense of our safety.

This is a peaceful public demonstration. Participants will stay on the public sidewalk and keep pedestrian access clear.

Wear green if you can, bring a sign, bring a friend, or simply show up.

This is a part of a larger National Day of Action anchored by Women’s March, me too. International, Feminist Generation, and FEMINIST. There will be rallies all over the country on October 8th. Williamsburg shouldn't be missing from the map, let’s show up for each other. You’re not alone.
