May Day Strong in Tallahassee Florida

Sign Holding Peaceful Protest

Our local Indivisible community will collaborate with Florida AFL-CIO and the Leon Democratic Environmental Caucus for a demonstration at the Capitol on May 3

In solidarity with May Day, International  Workers' Day, Indivisible Tallahassee, Florida AFL-CIO, and the Leon Democratic Environmental Caucus will host a protest demonstration at Florida's historic Capitol on the Monroe Street side.

This will be a lawful and peaceful protest and rally in support of our Democracy, workers, our environment, affordability, sensible gun laws, and healthcare and the democratic norms and Constitutional laws that are our nation's traditions.

Please use this new link to sign up for our May Day Strong demonstration site. This will assure that you get the details you'll need to get the most out of your demonstration: https://www.mobilize.us/mayday/event/780425/?fbclid=IwY2xjawJ4m7FleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFTYjY1bkpwSFM0U1dROTZ3AR55m-NHdgVlIlQj4gfskHvb3fzmZoZtLhvrfr-rJAzfbcWVM269YpMVRLQfqQ_aem_4ly_WMWepSK4LNlD99_VGw

Time is short, so please start getting your protest signs ready! We want to line the sidewalks of Monroe Street and  Apalachee Parkway near the Capital with clever and meaningful messages.

Indivisible will have a table at the demonstration where you can say hi and sign a petition and give us your contact info, if you wish. Look for our Indivisible Tallahassee banner and a table full of clipboards and friendly people staffing it.
