A WICKED International Women's Day - Unite & Resist in Oklahoma City, OK

šŸ“¢  Protest/Rally
Rise Up and Defy!
Sisters, daughters, children, and all who believe in justice—on March 8th, International Women's Day, we take to the steps of the Oklahoma State Capitol to raise our voices against fascism and the oligarchs tightening their grip on our freedoms. They want to keep us down, silent, and afraid—but like the song says, ā€œI’m through accepting limits ā€˜cause someone says they’re so.ā€
For too long, they have written the rules to benefit the powerful, stripping away our rights, silencing our voices, and keeping us in the shadows. But we refuse to play by their rules anymore. ā€œSomething has changed within me, something is not the same.ā€ We are awakening. We are resisting. And we are defying their gravity.
They tell us to sit down. WE WILL STAND TALLER.
They tell us to be quiet. WE WILL SHOUT LOUDER.
They try to hold us back. WE WILL RISE HIGHER.
Together, we are unlimited. When we stand as one, they cannot stop us. This fight is not just for us—it is for our daughters, our sisters, and every child who deserves a future free from tyranny. They must see, know, and understand that their voices matter and that their future depends on the actions we take today.
And let it be known: no wizard, no tyrant, no power-hungry leader that there is or ever was is ever going to bring us down.
Join us. March 8th. Oklahoma State Capitol. This is our moment to reclaim our power, to show them we will not comply with oppression, and to remind them that when women rise, the world changes.
Together, we will defy gravity. šŸ©·šŸ’šāœŠšŸ½āœŠšŸ»āœŠšŸæāœŠšŸ¼āœŠšŸ¾šŸ’™šŸ’›
