Parking: Parking spots line State Street in front of the State House and on many streets throughout downtown. (Street parking is free on Saturdays.) Please reserve parking close to the State House for those who have mobility needs. There is a parking lot behind the buildings across the street from the State House. There is a smaller parking lot just west of the State House, on the same side of the street (where the Farmer's Market in the summer is located). Additional parking is available in the Montpelier High School parking lot. ADA/wheelchair accessible parking spots are available in the parking areas directly to the east and to the west of the State House. Again, please reserve parking close to the State House for those who have mobility needs. There is a lot of hardened snow around the Capital building with some cleared pathways but not all sidewalk areas have been cleared as of Thursday. We will ensure there is a cleared wheelchair accessible path to access the event on the west side of the State House, which will be stage right of the event.
