International Women's Day - Unite & Resist in St. Cloud, MN

March 8th is International Women’s Day—a day to celebrate the achievements of women around the world, but also to recognize the struggles that remain. This year, it’s more important than ever to stand up for all women, especially those who face overlapping systems of oppression.

Women’s rights are under attack—but we can’t talk about that without acknowledging that LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC communities, and other marginalized groups are being targeted too. The current administration is pushing policies that strip away bodily autonomy, silence queer voices, and uphold systemic racism. When they come for one of us, they come for all of us.

That’s why we must practice intersectional solidarity—recognizing that the fight for gender justice is inseparable from the fights for racial justice, queer liberation, and economic justice. We can’t afford to leave anyone behind.

This #InternationalWomensDay, let’s do more than just celebrate. Let’s organize. Let’s resist. Let’s build a future where all of us—no matter our gender, race, or identity—are safe, free, and empowered.
