Leeds, GC Free America Caravan

One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent.  It is time for our communities to escalate as well. 

We need to tell our representatives to step it up and #FreeAmerica !!!
If you can - WALK OUT from school and/or work at 2 pm.  And don't shop.
We're asking anyone in reach of the Leeds, Greene Co. office of Rep. Josh Riley to show up.  We will meet at the Thruway Park & Ride, opposite Home Depot access road on County Rd 23B between 2 and 2:30pm.  It will be cold so we can remain in cars.  Extra signs will be available.  We will use the time for people to sign a letter to Rep. Riley.

Put signs on your car #FreeAmerica or whatever you see fit.

We have a letter for everyone to sign.  At about 3pm we will caravan to Riley's office and deliver the letter.  If you have your own message for our Congressman, this is a great time to deliver it.  Rep. Riley has, too often, voted along with the MAGA Republicans.  We need him to step up and fight back.  

For those who can, we will continue the caravan into Catskill after letter delivery.  Carpool if possible.

Call your neighbors and classmates, and turn your back and walk out on fascism. Walk out to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real. This is a protest and a promise.  In the face of fascism, we will be ungovernable.
