Let Freedom Ring in St. Joseph!
CELEBRATE FREEDOM. Join us as we raise our voices on our country's Independence Day!
Persisterhood - St. Joseph is once again seeking your support as we host a rally in our usual spot (Public Sidewalks on the corner of Belt and Frederick). This day marks our freedom as a nation, but Donald Trump and his DOGE and MAGA cronies have consistently defied defied our constitutionally guaranteed right to justice and due process. They threaten the very idea of freedom in this country.
How to prepare and what to bring: With the summer heat bearing down on us, we implore you to keep yourself safe. The following items are recommended:
- Water (You are welcome to bring extra to donate!)
- Snacks (Remember Salt is great)
- Sunscreen -Hat/Sunglasses
- FLAGS!!!!!
- Signs (extra provided, as they last)
If at any point you become overheated, IT IS TIME TO GO HOME. This is a peaceful protest. We'll have safety marshals available.
