As the United States braces for extreme heat, wildfires, and hurricanes, the Trump administration just rammed through a mega-bill defunding our communities to give handouts to billionaires. Come 2026 you will feel it if you are not already! They’re dismantling our democracy, attacking immigrants (of trading partner countries who are reconsidering investing here given the way our government is treating its citizens AND non-citizens) and feeding the war profiteers.
The attacks on our people are directly tied to the attacks on our planet. The billionaire fascists are hoarding resources and leaving working class communities to face the impacts of the extreme weather and rising seas. They are pitting right versus left WITHOUT the evidence under the excuse of VENGENCE to KEEP us from SEEING each other as human beings. —-STOP THE OTHERING —-and REMIND THEM TO ADHERE TO THE CONSTITUTION particularly The First Amendment of Free Speech that doesn’t ISSUE A DIRECT THREAT OF HARM AT THE SAME TIME. That is the difference between a not so nice statement that is legal and one that IS NOT.😊
