May Day, May Day, May Day!
Please join us our next rally:
Thursday, May 1st 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Concerned citizens are rallying to support workers around America and the globe on. The rally will be held at the Green Space adjacent to City Hall in Lewisburg. 

May 1st is International Workers Day and commemorates the struggle of workers in Chicago in 1886 who fought for an 8-hour workday. 

We are rising up because our lives, our families, our public schools and our healthcare are worth fighting for. We are coming together to protect/defend Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare and to advocate stopping the billionaire takeover of our country. We support full funding for our public schools and full support for farmers and farms. We are advocating a stop to attacks on immigrants and other minority groups.

This will be a non-violent, peaceful rally. You’re encouraged to make your own signs, but we will also have signs available.
