May Day Gathering at Trump Tower
When our nation puts billionaires over workers, We the People must refuse business as usual.
On May 1st (May Day), workers, students, and families around the country will skip school, skip work, and say no to shopping. And we will peacefully and powerfully demand the following from this administration and its felonious leader:
- Tax the rich. Our families, not their fortunes, come first.
- No ICE. No war. No private armies serving authoritarian power.
- Defend free and fair elections. Expand democracy, not corporate rule.
Because action is the antidote to despair, please gather your friends, family, and colleagues to join us for a short morning rally. It'll take place across the street from Trump Tower (725 Fifth Avenue at the corner of East 56th Street).
If you’re able, please wear something green (to represent a united, feminist front for social change). Hats, beads, t-shirts, scarves, or anything left over from your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will do! You can also add green lettering to your signs and posters.
