After We March, We ORGANIZE! No Kings Sunday Teach-In Series at Kruger Pines 5

✊ From Protest to Purpose
The Women’s March reminds us what’s at stake — freedom, equality, and the right to live with dignity. But marching is just the beginning.
The No Kings movement called out greed and inequality. Now we’re bringing that same people-powered energy home to Kruger Pines, blending it with the steady wisdom of Seniors for Peace to create a new weekly tradition: organizing Sundays.
Every Sunday, we meet to learn how to organize — not in theory, but in practice. Together, we’re building a movement to expand Habitat for Humanity–style housing across Marin County.
Because after Jimmy Carter got knocked down, he didn’t chase power — he picked up a hammer and built homes for people. That’s the model. That’s our mission.

🏡 The Story: From One House to a Movement
For the first 60 years of Habitat for Humanity’s history, only one home was ever built in Marin County.
That changed recently — and dramatically.
In the past two years, Habitat Marin has completed four new homes in Bolinas, with an eight-unit project now breaking ground there.
Next comes Habitat Redwood in Novato — a bold 80-home development centered around a community amphitheater where neighbors can live, work, and gather together. It’s a model of what’s possible when housing and culture grow side by side.
Now it’s time to build the human infrastructure — the volunteers, donors, and future homeowners — who will make sure Marin never waits another 60 years for affordable housing.
---
🧭 What to Expect
These teach-ins are where protest becomes purpose. Each week, we’ll:
Learn how Habitat for Humanity works — and how to start new projects
Train volunteers, fundraisers, and storytellers
Build the base of support to expand housing across Marin
Create real pathways for working people to earn sweat-equity homes
By showing up weekly, you’ll gain the skills and relationships to help lead Marin’s next chapter of community-driven homebuilding.
