Montgomery County/Dayton Free America Walkout
On January 20 at 2 PM local time, there is a call to action to walk out of work, school, and commerce because a Free America begins the moment we stop cooperating with fascism.
Join us at 313 S Jefferson St Dayton Ohio at 3pm after your 2pm walk out! The event is until 6pm so come when you can. We will gather in community for us to share calls to action for 2026. We are providing a space to come be in community, share your ideas and learn plans that are coming together for this year! We will have a sign making section where you can make signs and hit the sidewalk that day at a near by intersection or for the next protest. Bring your friends, family and anyone who cares about community and wants to get involved.
One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent. It is time for our communities to stand up, speak out and walk out if you able!

2025 was a year of marches that showed our collective strength. And as the threats grow, our movement must evolve and escalate. Trump and his allies have already made clear that a second term would bring a deeper wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first.
On January 20, we call on our communities to call your neighbors and classmates, and turn your back and walk out on fascism.
