Who: everyone who works/lives/shops/studies in or around Music Row
What: walk out of work, hold signs

On January 20 at 2pm, we call on all workers on Music Row to turn your back and walk out on fascism. As you are able, by taking a break, taking PTO, or just walking out of work, let’s walk out to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real.
Show your participation and solidarity by dressing in black (calling back to The Man in Black) and stopping the wheels of capitalism that have been rolling over us for generations. Please share this with your colleagues on and around Music Row and encourage participation in any way possible.
This is organized to activate those working and studying in and around music row—a place that tells the story of how Nashville became what it is today. If you feel so inclined please organize within other parts of Nashville. We must all stand united to show that the power belongs to the people and until our government and business are just for all we will not go along easily and blindly.

One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent. It is time for our communities to escalate as well.

2025 was a year of marches that showed our collective strength. And as the threats grow, our movement must evolve and escalate. Trump and his allies have already made clear that a second term would bring a deeper wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first.
