Nebraska's International Women's Day March to the Capitol
Nebraska Women and their allies will gather at the capitol building on Friday, March 6th from 12:30-2:30 to celebrate International Women's Day.
Nebraskans will be able to
-call out their district senator to discuss bills and issues important to you
-listen to debate on the floor about bills coming up for a vote
-sign the Respect Nebraska Voters petition
-listen to a few female senators speak about their journey running for office
-explore the capitol building if you have never been there before
Women truly keep our society functioning. Women are constantly working for positive change. We will meet a few women who are working for legal change and possibly inspire other women to join them. We want to celebrate and lift up all women. Happy International Women's Day!
