People Protecting the Constitution May Day 2026 West Point/Highland Falls/ Ft. Montgomery NY
Our two-part event will start out with sign-holding from 12:30-1:30 PM; a transition to our second nearby location (less than 1/4 mile walking distance) will then be followed by a Community Oratory from 2:00-3:00 PM.
- SIGN the giant CONSTITUTION
- LISTEN to RESISTANCE SINGERS and musicians
- HEAR the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE and other works that support DEMOCRACY FOR ALL and living in these times
- WEAR a SUPERHERO-FOR-DEMOCRACY costume (whatever that means to you!) or come as you are (recently we had Captain Action, Lady Liberty, St. Mary Guacamole-a nun "thou shalt not kill", and a Portland Frog)
- BE a public reader for the oratory, be a peace marshal, a musician, or be an enthusiastic attendee!
- BRING a poster and join in
- SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!
