"PEOPLE'S MARCH Coffee & Commiserating" (Inauguration Day coffee/virtual gathering for Washington State)

We all march for different reasons, but we march for the same cause: to defend our rights and our future.  The People’s March weekend is about one thing: our power. It’s a bold demonstration of the resilience of joyful resistance. 

This is our moment to remind fellow Americans everywhere where the power truly lives: with US the people. It's also the time to keep building community because we have a long road ahead and we'll need each other. Let's make it count. 

This virtual event during the inauguration is a way to be in community while also allowing the introverts - or homebound folks or people sitting at work - among us to have remote company that Monday morning. There is no planned program, no speakers nor presentations, nor will we be streaming the event broadcast at this event. Just a virtual hangout during which you may choose individually to be watching or not watching the event at the same time.

January 20, 2025 is going to be a difficult day for many of us, so let's find positive company online, wake up with some coffee or your drink of choice, and be together while watching **or for a block of time, ignoring!** the "inauguration."
