People's March Pocatello

Venues: We will gather outdoors and march. Check locally for our sign-making events (2 options) in the days prior.
We will conclude with an indoor event, hear from our presenters, and have information to share for future engagement. Our Indoor venue has a separate listing on this site. Due to occupancy maximum, check out the details there.

Outdoor Venue: We will gather at Caldwell Park, E. Center St. & 7th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. 
We all march for different reasons, but we march for the same cause: to defend our rights and our future. 

We support queer, gender expansive and indigenous lives, immigrants, veterans, people of color, accessibility, our librarians and teachers, and our environment and we are here to advocate for our civil rights. 

If you believe that decisions about your body should remain yours, that books belong in libraries, not on bonfires, that healthcare is a right, not a privilege for the wealthy; if you believe in the power of free speech and protest to sustain democracy; or if you want an economy that works for the people who power it—then this march is for you.

The People’s March is a bold demonstration of the resilience of resistance:

This is our moment to remind Washington elites, Idahoans, and Americans everywhere — where the power truly lives: with the people.
