People's March & Women's Rally, Littleton, MA

NOTE ON PARKING: We're expecting a good turnout! Parking around the Littleton Common is on-street only. We recommend carpooling if possible. You can also park in the parking lot at the Congregational Church of Littleton (330 King Street, Littleton) and walk to the Common; it's about a 10-15 minute walk, so you will want to drop off those with mobility issues at the Common before you park. We plan to use cones to create a drop-off zone.

We all march for different reasons, but we march for the same cause: to defend our rights and our future.

If you believe that decisions about your body should remain yours, that books belong in libraries, not on bonfires, that healthcare is a right, not a privilege for the wealthy; if you believe in the power of free speech and protest to sustain democracy; or if you want an economy that works for the people who power it—then this march is for you.

The People’s March is about one thing: our power.

It’s a bold demonstration of the resilience of resistance:

  • We march to unite the people who’ve been the backbone of resistance for generations—and to welcome even more
  • We march to remind civil servants they answer to us
  • We march to inspire, energize, and drive change long after the day is done.

This is our moment to remind Washington elites — and Americans everywhere — where the power truly lives: with the people.

Let’s make it count.

Please join us! This Littleton (Massachusetts) People's March and Women's Rally coincides with the Women’s March that is taking place in Washington D.C. on the same date. We will gather on the Littleton Town Common.

The vision statement of the national Women’s March is: “Women’s March is building a base of feminists to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression. By 2050, we will be a feminist-led movement that ensures anyone, and everyone has the freedom to lead empowered lives in safety and security in their bodies, in their communities, and throughout the country.”

While Littleton's event will be pro-choice (pro-bodily autonomy), that is not the sole focus of the gathering. We will have speakers on topics of violence against women, and the impacts of sexism and gender inequality in Massachusetts. Sen. Jamie Eldridge, Rep. Vanna Howard, Littleton Selectwoman Karen Morrison, and others will speak.
