PEOPLE'S MARCH Sussex County

I am reaching out to invite you to be part of an inspiring event that promises to empower our community—the People's March of Sussex County, mirroring the energy and spirit of the National People's March in D.C. This march is a powerful expression of our shared values of inclusivity, equality, and empowerment, and it presents a significant opportunity for all of us to stand together for social justice and community unity.

Our march will take place on Rehoboth Avenue, starting at The Convention center, where we will celebrate the meaningful progress we've made toward inclusivity and justice in our county. This event will serve as a platform for us to gather in solidarity with individuals nationwide, reinforcing the belief that true power resides with the people. Together, our united voices will shine brightly as a beacon of hope and encouragement for ongoing movements advocating for equality and justice.

We invite you to join us as volunteers and participants! Your involvement will amplify our cause and demonstrate our collective commitment to these vital issues. The culmination of the march at the bandstand will be a moment for collective reflection and a renewed commitment to advocacy in the days ahead.

We all march for different reasons, but we share a common cause: to defend our rights and our future. The People’s March is about one thing: our power. It’s a bold demonstration of the resilience of resistance:

- We march to unite those who’ve been the backbone of resistance for generations—and to welcome even more.
- We march to remind civil servants they answer to us.
- We march to inspire, energize, and drive change long after the day is done.
