About the CFC People's Neighborhood Protest Series:
The People’s Neighborhood Protests are a rotating series of local demonstrations taking place weekly across Montgomery County. —bringing visibility, voice, and collective resistance to the neighborhoods we live in. These hyper-local actions are organized by Community for Change and our coalition partners.
These peaceful, high-visibility actions happen during weekday rush hour (5–7 PM) and are designed to meet people where they are—right in their neighborhoods. Protest locations rotate weekly to cover different areas of the county, with the goal of sustaining momentum, building local connections, and expanding our movement block by block.
Each protest is a space to:
-Speak out against injustice
-Build solidarity across communities
-Share resources and mutual aid
-Connect neighbors to ongoing action
These aren’t just protests—they’re neighborhood-powered acts of resistance and belonging. Come as you are. Bring your voice, your people, your signs, and your love for justice.
