Philadelphia Free America Weekend

CELEBRATE FREEDOM. IGNITE YOUR REBELLION

Independence Day is about the fight for freedom. The American Revolution was a stand against tyranny and kings. That same spirit has lived on—from the Boston Tea Party to the Underground Railroad, from Stonewall to the Civil Rights Movement.

America is in crisis. Real democracy feels out of reach. Freedom is in trouble.

Join the Brandywine Peace Community & Peace, Justice, Sustainability NOW!
this Friday, July 4th, "Stand Out" at Philadelphia's Independence Day Parade.

We will hold large, colorful banners in front of the Federal Courthouse, 601 Market St.
Declare your independence from the madness of Trump's lies, greed, fear and hate, racism, war, and militarism.
We will "see and be seen," while watching the floats, bands, and marchers go by and mingling with the crowd of spectators.
We will reach out to passersby with important action information - we need to mobilize mass numbers to resist nothing less than a fascist program coming out of the White House.

Gather with us between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in front of the courthouse to claim our curbside spot before crowds get there.
Stand or sit (bring a folding chair if you wish). Brandywine's historic bell of justice and peace will toll.
The parade ends at 12:30 p.m.

No Kings! No Tyrants! Independence and justice for all!

Please forgive this short notice and join us in standing at this crucial moment when all our voices need to be heard!

Free America is wherever we are. Free America is whatever we want

Your freedom. Your people. Your rebellion.
