This International Women’s Day, we gather not just to celebrate but to resist. As Washington, D.C. continues its attacks on women’s rights, we refuse to stay silent. This is a call to action. Bring your food, family, friends, and allies for a powerful (and family friendly) afternoon of unity, discussion, and mobilization.

🌿 Pack a picnic and a blanket, and let’s turn this gathering into a movement.

BRING:
  • Your picnic and some snacks to share if you have the means
  • A secure email address (NOT GOOGLE or ICLOUD) for networking
  • Masks are welcome, but not required

12:00 PM – Welcome & Picnic Kickoff

  • Find a spot, unpack your picnic, and connect with fellow community members
  • Enjoy music, conversation, and a shared sense of purpose

12:30 PM – Why We Resist: The Fight for Women’s Rights

  • Discussion on the attacks on women’s rights coming from Washington, D.C.
  • How these policies are impacting our communities
  • What we can do NOW and, in the future

1:00 PM – Discussion: Working Together and Networking

  • Breakout discussions: How can we support each other in this fight?
  • Create action teams for upcoming rallies, events, and advocacy efforts
  • "Make Your Sign" for when you plan to attend a local rally
  • Share resources, build networks, and commit to the movement
