Portland, OR Free America Rally and Walkout
The Portland community is answering the call for a nationwide walkout!
This administration has effectively dismissed the United States Constitution.
Trump continues to use his position, and privilege of executive orders, to bypass congressional authority to enforce his whims. Declaring his own version of law, despite clear constitutional law limiting his authority without congressional approval.
The Legislative and Judicial branches have failed to act and continue to neglect their sworn duty to use constitutional authority to ensure neither branch, nor elected official, hold more power than another.
While Federal Courts have repeatedly ruled against many of his criminal actions, there have been no consequences for the initial unlawful actions, nor the unlawful act of defying federal court orders.
Our elected officials have failed to take effective action to squash this regime. They continue to allow the illegal takeover of our country from within and the continued violent terrorism of the people of this nation and our neighboring sovereign nations.
No one is above the laws of this nation; we demand this madness end!
If you are unable to attend the Rally and/or Walk, don't let your voice be silenced! The Walk Out is an action in and of itself. Spend the day with your family or friends. Plan to leave work or school at 2PM and focus on self care. If you are a small business owner and can not afford to close for the rest of the day, close at 2pm for an hour in solidarity. The Rally and Walk are not the only ways to participate.
