Rally Against Sexual Violence From the Frat House to the White House
We will meet in the quad on campus at UC Davis to hear from speakers, chant, and write positive messages for survivors on a poster board. From there, we will march to our administration building to issue our demands of the chancellor.
- We demand that all UC Davis Fraternities install frat pillars of consent in coordination with the ASUCD Gender and Sexuality Commission as well as the Sexual Assault Awareness and Advocacy Committee within the next three weeks.
- We demand a statement from Chancellor May denouncing the actions of Matthew Ingalls, Jonathan Newell, Winston Lee, Gillio Lopes, Diego Sarabia, Scott Norris, Scott Kretzschmar, and the lack of proportional disciplinary action from Cornell University. We call on you as the leader of this university to complete the campus lighting project, promote campus safety, and hold rapists accountable.
- We demand that our elected student body senators issue a resolution cementing their commitment to prevent sexual assault and dismantle rape culture on our campus. Students deserve to hear from each and every one of their elected student representatives.
