International Womans Day-Brentwood, MO

This past year has made one thing painfully clear: this administration thinks it’s above the law. We’ve watched cruelty become policy, chaos masquerade as leadership, and power exercised without accountability.
And still, we stand up and fight back.
From the federal government to our state legislature, our rights continue to be under attack.
And still, we stand up and fight back.
From the federal government to our state legislature, our rights continue to be under attack.
And still, we stand up and fight back.
This moment calls for all of us, every human being, to stand up, to be brave, to fight back.
It seems every day we are being inundated with darkness and negativity; it can weigh heavily on us. Let us come together in a light, joyful resistance in our fight against those dark forces. In the spirit of community, please come to this event with an offering for a ReSister you do not know. Whether it's a flower, a small note of encouragement, a button, whatever you want. Bring something to spread ripples of joy, light, & love.
This International Women's Day, let us show up for one another, let's be brave together. Join us for joyful resistance on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Brentwood, MO, 11:00am-1:00pm for our 2nd Annual International Women's Day sign-holding visibility event.
We will be at the intersection of EAGAR & BRENTWOOD BLVD, 11am-1pm. There is ample public parking in the area as well as the shopping centers.
Make signs, bring cowbells and big voices. Bring a drink or snack if needed but be sure NOT to litter. Note that nearby restroom facilities are limited.
We are exercising our right to peacefully assemble on public sidewalks. Our route will remain clear for pedestrian traffic and we expect all participants to refrain from bringing drugs or weapons while upholding local laws to ensure a peaceful, impactful event. We will remain peaceful and not engage with hecklers.
If any individuals attempt to disrupt the rally by recording, shouting, or engaging with you, please remain composed. We suggest using cow bells or whistles to gently deter any disturbances; our focus must remain our cause. Disruptors seeking confrontation will be ignored, our chants will continue to amplify our message.
Petitions for Respect Mo Voters as well as other organizations will be available to sign through out the crowd.
