Stop Project 2025 New York City
This is an event to help raise awareness so that we can STOP PROJECT 2025 from becoming reality.
Project 2025 ia a 900+ page collection of documents that lays out how the United State will be transformed into a Christofascist theocracy after the election of a president who is willing to push this agenda. Instead of three co-equal branches of government, Project 2025 lays out how they will make the executive branch more powerful so that we have a dictator instead of our current system of government.
Project 2025’s overarching goal is a “top to bottom” blueprint for systematic reform of the current federal system of governance to “destroy the Administrative State.” That includes a sweeping and targeted goal of removing, or rolling back, federal policies that support gender and LGBTQ+ civil rights, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), climate change initaitives, and regulation of corporations.
Project 2025 will affect all of us and every sector of our society including, but not limited to, labor, gender, immigration, racial equality, climate, media, religious freedom, education, and reproductive health.
Stopthecoup2025.org and the #StopProject2025 coalition will hold this rally to publicly denounce the "conservative" movement's and The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 and its undemocratic push to transform our Federal Government into a Chiristian nationalist, authoritarian dystopia, with a dictator-for-life instead of a democratically elected president
