STOP SEXUAL VIOLENCE- I Stand with Her in San Carlos
From the protests in Delhi to the Cornell case here at home, recent weeks have been a painful reminder that sexual violence crosses borders, campuses, and communities, including our own. In South Asian families, silence and shame too often protect harm instead of people.
This October 8th, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month on, we're gathering in San Carlos downtown train station with our signs of support in solidarity to break that silence together. Noon-2pm. Everyone is welcome.
If you or someone you love needs support now:
- CORA (San Mateo County, 24/7): 800-300-1080
- Narika helpline (South Asian focus): 1-800-215-7308
