We Celebrate Women and Demand Equal Rights!

The Homestead/Pittsburgh Women's March will begin on Amity Street in Homestead. We will place a wreath on the Mother Jones Memorial, and on the Memorial of Francis Perkins across the street. Then we will March down Amity Street to Seventh Avenue, make a right, and March to the space under the Homestead Grays Bridge to enjoy the Homestead Women's Festival Day.

There will be a Ceremony to Honor Women Leaders in Politics, followed by a Women's Jazz and Blues Festival featuring all women musicians and singers, arts, crafts, and food vendors. In between the bands, we will honor local women for their work or accomplishments that benefit the lives and futures of women and girls in our region. This country is in a state of emergency. Women's Rights are being taken away, and if we don't take action, it's going to be too late!

We Demand the Right to Choose what happens with our own bodies and make our own health care decisions. We Demand Fair and Affordable Housing. We Demand Access to Affordable Childcare. We Demand Truthful History Lessons in All Schools, and the Right to Read! We Demand Equal Liberty for Women, and We Demand Equal Pay for Equal Work!
