"We the People" demonstration on International Women's Day

Concerned people in Nebraska will gather for a sign holding event at 72nd and Dodge on Saturday, March 8th at 12:00pm.
(We do not have a permit for this event which means we need to make sure the sidewalks are passable for people not participating and that we are not blocking traffic.)
It's going to be up to the people to put pressure on our national and state representatives to be accountable to us, NOT corporations and the Presidential administration.
Nationally Republican representatives aren't speaking out for the people as the President fires thousands of working Americans without knowledge or care for the importance of their jobs, punishes businesses promoting DEI, increases costs for working Americans while cutting taxes for millionaires, separates immigrant families and retaliates against anyone who speaks out against him including the free press.
Locally Republican representatives continue to attack women's rights to reproductive health care, public education, transgender rights and ballot initiatives Nebraskans overwhelmingly voted in favor of ( paid sick leave, livable wages, and medical marihuana).
If the people don't make themselves seen and heard this attack on our rights will continue.
Show up. Speak out. Stand together. Because silence is complicity, and we refuse to be silent.
