Sarasota Women's March

Hosted by Voices of Florida Fund, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Since its inception in 2017, the Women's March has served as a powerful platform to demonstrate the strength of grassroots activism and the solidarity of women and other marginalized groups fighting for gender equality and social justice. The marches, powered by millions globally, highlight the importance of a collective voice in making change and drawing attention to the barriers women face every day regarding issues such as reproductive justice, wage and opportunity gaps, violence, and misogyny.

On January 18, 2025, millions will march again, all around the world, to stand together in unity against discrimination and systemic oppression.

One of these marches will take place right here in Southwest Florida. Voices of Florida Fund will be hosting the Women's March in Sarasota beginning at 10am at Marina Jack. Parking is free. We ask that all attendees dress for the weather, wear comfortable footwear, and bring water to drink.

Together, we will remind the leaders in power in Florida and across the nation that we will not quietly accept a patriarchal government and discriminatory laws. History has shown that through collective action, women have made groundbreaking strides in securing rights, advancing social justice, and dismantling oppressive systems. This mission continues today as we all fight to make gender equality not just a goal but a reality, here and around the world.

Join us on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10am in Sarasota at Marina Jack, located at 2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, FL 34236. We will be set up on the sidewalk in front of Marina Jack.
