Women's Wave Vigil for Our Rights! (Everett/Snohomish County)

UPDATE: We have confirmed some great elected women will join us and share words of encouragement and motivation. Join U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene, and local and state leaders at this Snohomish County event in downtown Everett!
Join us on Saturday, October 8th for a national day of action to help us send the message: Women demand our rights! Women and allies all around the country are uniting for a fall of reckoning. We will not sit back and accept the attacks on our families, future, and our freedom.
And since October 8th marks 30 days until Election Day, we’re more fired up than ever to elect more women and pro-choice candidates around the country — we’re ready for the Women’s Wave!
Join us at the Snohomish County Courthouse Ballot Box if your passion-for-action is showing up for our rights (all rights)! Saturday in Snohomish County - Roevember Begins Now! A vigil for our rights at 4:30 p.m. at the Snohomish County Courthouse Ballot Box.
This will be a chance to build our community and pledge to Stand Up, Speak Out, and VOTE! Take a stand that we're NOT going back! Join in a Vigil for Our Rights. We'll have information and sign making stations, a speakers corner, great music and lots of community building.
Bring a flower for women's freedom to lay at the Ballot Box with your pledge card or sign proclaiming your intentions. (The Women's Suffragette Movement used the yellow rose as the public symbol of support for the women's right to vote.) At 5 p.m. we'll have our moment of silence to hear the toll of historic church bells. Then we'll work on signs to display proudly for the next 30 days in our windows, on our dashboards, or in our yards; and we have postcards for speaking out with a list of great ideas for action.
Grab your friends and register today! We'll see you Saturday: October 8th at 4:30 p.m.
