Women's Wave March Ann Arbor

Join us on Saturday, October 8th for a national day of action to help us send the message: Women demand our rights. People all around the country are uniting for a fall of reckoning. We will not sit back and accept the attacks on our families, future, and our freedom.

We're kicking it off with sign-making, chants, chances to connect with local organizations and register to vote, with great speakers including Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, Detroit-based Author, Radio Host and Activist Michelle Elizabeth Brown, Ann Arbor Women's March Founder & DNC Climate Chair Michelle Regalado Deatrick, Kate Costello of the Yes on 3 Ballot Initiative, YDSA-UM member and UM Student Nat Leach, County Commissioner Sue Shink, and more! We'll march, chant and make our voices heard.

Bring a sign - or make one at the March (get there at 4 - supplies limited)! We've been asked what to wear: Be comfortable and wear your walking shoes. Consider wearing BLUE for the BLUE Women's Wave.

And since October 8th marks 30 days until Election Day, we’re more fired up than ever to elect more women and pro-choice candidates around the country — we’re ready for the Women’s Wave!
