No Kings Marin: Love Bank at Kruger Pines

❤️ Love Bank at Kruger Pines

A No Kings Marin gathering for care, connection, music, and a community teach-in

This gathering is part of a monthly No Kings Marin series focused on care, connection, and practical neighbor-to-neighbor support.

Our earlier gatherings brought neighbors together to listen, share, and begin identifying the real, everyday needs of seniors and families in our community. This gathering continues that work — while also creating space for music, conversation, and a teach-in about what the Love Bank is, why it matters, and how simple local action can make a real difference.

After we show up publicly for our values, we believe it is just as important to show up personally for one another.

This is a relaxed, welcoming space to reconnect, meet neighbors, hear music, and take part in a short community teach-in about the Love Bank, Adopt-A-Senior, and related local efforts. There is no expectation to join anything or commit to anything — simply come as you are and be part of a thoughtful, human gathering.

🚗 Parking & Arrival — Please Read

Please park at the Citibank lot and walk up the path to Kruger Pines.

Parking:
Citibank
101 Tiburon Blvd
Mill Valley, CA 94941

From the Citibank parking lot, you’ll see a walking path leading up to Kruger Pines. Follow the path — do not drive up to the building.

👉 There will be signs along the path to guide you the whole way.

There is also an ATM at Citibank, so if you’d like to bring a cash contribution, you can easily stop there before walking up.

If you’re able and willing, please consider bringing a cash contribution. Funds are pooled and used to respond to needs identified directly by residents — things like transportation, groceries, medications, or small everyday gaps that make a big difference. No gift cards, no agencies, no overhead — just neighbors helping neighbors.

Come be part of something kind, practical, musical, and quietly powerful. We’d love to see you.

What to expect:

  • Brief welcome and community connection

  • Live music from local musicians

  • A short teach-in on the Love Bank and related efforts

  • Updates from neighbors involved in direct support work

  • Space for conversation, listening, and relationship-building

Private “How to Prepare” Section

This is a listening-first, relationship-based gathering — not a formal meeting or training.

We’ll briefly share:

  • What we’ve been learning from recent gatherings

  • Updates on the Love Bank, Adopt-A-Senior, and related efforts

  • How neighbors are responding to needs in simple, direct, human ways

  • Why this model matters right now and how people can help in practical ways

You do not need to bring anything specific.

If you’re able and willing, you may bring a cash contribution to support direct needs identified by residents — transportation, groceries, medications, and other basic gaps — but it is completely optional.

Most important: come curious, open, and ready for conversation.
