Come join your neighbors and friends to shout out your love of the Constitution, medicine, science, human rights, civil rights, diversity and freedom from bullies and their minions. We are gathering on Saturday, September 20 on the corner of Old Dominion and Dolley Madison in Mclean from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Park at the library (1244 Oak Ridge Ave McLean, VA,) and walk through the McLean Central Park.  Together we can activate people to do the right thing!

Everywhere we turn, the crises are piling up: record-breaking heat, wildfire smoke, skyrocketing rents, abortion bans, etc.—and a tiny circle of billionaires is profiting off the mess while the rest of us, especially women, scramble to keep families safe. 

The Trump administration just rammed through a mega-bill defunding our communities to give handouts to billionaires. They pour money into fossil fuels one day, and then fund anti abortion PACs and anti-immigrant politicians the next day.  Money that should fund childcare centers and paid family leave is instead funneled into tax breaks for the very corporations pouring carbon into the sky.

We’re up against a wave of fascism bankrolled by fossil-fuel billionaires whose strategy is simple: tighten control through polluted air, scorched land, and privatized water while attacking our bodies, votes, and borders. The attacks on our people are directly tied to the attacks on our planet. War-making and genocide, from Palestine to Sudan and the Congo, is contrary to the just transition and repair of the Earth we demand. 

The billionaire fascists are hoarding resources and leaving working-class communities across the globe to face the impacts of extreme weather and rising seas, while building walls and furthering their militarized response to the climate crisis.
